Digital nomad residency

The Digital Nomad Residency – Nature and Community programme offers remote professionals the opportunity to experience the lifestyle of the Balkans while maintaining a productive remote work routine.

Combining coworking infrastructure, co-living communities, mountain retreats, cultural immersion, and authentic rural experiences, this programme allows participants to work remotely while discovering some of the most inspiring destinations in Southeast Europe.
The residency experience connects the Adriatic coast, mountain landscapes, historic towns, and Herzegovina wine regions through a carefully structured four-week programme adapted to the digital nomad lifestyle.

Participants can work remotely from:

• coworking and co-living spaces in Kotor
• mountain lodges and remote work retreats in Kolašin
• creative cafés and cultural hubs in Mostar
• peaceful rural guesthouses and wine estates in Herzegovina

The programme combines reliable internet infrastructure, inspiring work environments, and strong community-oriented experiences that support both productivity and wellbeing.

During the residency programme, participants can enjoy:
• coworking sessions with views of the Bay of Kotor
• networking events with local entrepreneurs and creatives
• hiking and outdoor adventures in mountain national parks
• guided cultural tours and UNESCO heritage experiences
• wine tasting and traditional gastronomy experiences
• wellness and slow-living activities in rural areas
• authentic interaction with local communities across the cross-border region

Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina are increasingly recognised as emerging digital nomad destinations due to their affordable living costs, growing coworking infrastructure, welcoming communities, and exceptional natural diversity.
Unlike overcrowded digital nomad hubs, the Balkan cross-border region offers:

✔ peaceful remote work environments

✔ authentic cultural immersion

✔ affordable long-term stays
✔ mountain, coast, and countryside experiences

✔ sustainable tourism and slow travel opportunities
✔ meaningful community connections

The Digital Nomad Residency – Nature and Community programme is more than a workation experience. It provides digital nomads with an opportunity to temporarily live within the region, establish routines, explore local culture, and experience a balanced lifestyle between work, travel, and nature.

This one-month Balkan residency programme represents an ideal opportunity for remote professionals looking for an inspiring and community-driven alternative to traditional digital nomad destinations in Europe.
